Practice insurance is available for most facilities in our region to any club or team affiliated with Pacific Northwest AAU granted all criteria are met.  Criteria are as follows:

  • Acquire club status through The AAU national office.
  • Coaches and/or directors must acquire an AAU membership through The AAU national office.  This includes all assistant coaches.
  • All players must acquire current AAU memberships through the national office. 

Once all criteria are met, teams must submit insurance requests to the Pacific Northwest AAU office at nwsports@pnaau.org PNAAU will need the following in the request:

  • Name of school district
  • Name of specific facility if needed
  • Address of facility
  • Contact name, phone, and e-mail address for the person at the facility receiving the insurance approval
  • Your AAU club number which provides PNAAU easy access to the coaches and players in your club

PNAAU will send insurance approval directly to the facility requested within 5 business days.  You will receive confirmation from PNAAU that approval has been sent.  However, we recommend you confirm the insurance has been received by said facility before beginning practice.
