One of the most exciting aspects of the AAU is the wonderful national championships that they put on each year in multiple sports. Boys Basketball has always been one of the most exciting events and is something that every player will remember for the rest of his life. From the Olympic-like opening ceremonies to the final awards it is an impressive experience.
Your team can be part of this happening by entering the Pacific Northwest Boys Basketball National Qualifier. The Pacific NW Qualifier is always held the third week in March, this year it will be March 19th & 20th in the Seattle area. The National AAU has added a Division 3 to the Division 1 and 2 boys basketball tournaments they have held for the last few years. This has offered the opportunity for more and more teams to participate and truly be challenged but not be overwhelmed. With these additional divisions the tournaments are no longer just for the very elite teams.
The AAU National Championships offer a unique opportunity for the teams, players and their families to create memories that will last a lifetime. It is also a great way to visit different parts of the country.
